This line was developed for circulating oil operating at lower and less dangerous pressures than saturated steam systems. Available in a selection of sizes, Our “Hot Oil” joints are recommended for applications using Mobiltherm 600, Dowtherm, and other heat transfer fluids for circulating systems at temperatures up to +600°F (316°C). Our hot oil joint has been field-tested and proven to be the most efficient of any other line available.
Our fluid rotary unions are currently used around the world to ensure reliable transmission of control fluids. Currently, fluid rotary unions rated for pressures up to 15,000 PSI (1000 bar) are available. Seals are selected based on chemical compatibility, design pressure, design temperature, required service life and acceptable leakage rate. Leak collection can be supplied when required for environmental or personnel safety. Any number of products from the catalog can be utilized in a chemical plant application.
Paper Converting plants employ rotary unions with pneumatic joints for the air clutches and brakes. They can also be found in paper mills and also in the production of corrugated products as well.
